After years and years of waiting, Apple eventually succumbs to the revolution that is phablet. I still remember how Steve Jobs’ conviction of an ideal form factor in the iPhone models that are older have return to the business that he had resurrected from the point of departure. Anything less will not be large. A cellphone with screen size bigger compared to the iPhone was said to be unuseable.
For many years now, Apple’s close competitors have been releasing larger display smartphones and the approach appears to be going very well with smartphone users. I thought it was the closing opportunity that I’m giving to Apple, this year. When they don’t release a bigger display iPhone, I was going to jump ship. I ‘d always wanted the super enormous Galaxy Note 3 but have been willing to wait because I actually don’t enjoy the Samsung brand.
The unveiling of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus leaves me in a predicament. I’m confident I am not the only one who’s having difficulty deciding which of the two colossal iPhone I should be getting. On one hand, I’m really attracted to the huge screen size the iPhone 6 Plus is offering. But on the flip side, I’ve been hearing a great deal of the negative stories around iPhone 6 Plus. Referred to some as the ‘bendgate’ scandal, when you put it in your rear pocket iPHone 6 Plus had been reported to be bendable.
It’s been several years now since I’ve been needing to update from my iPhone 4. Problems and all the hypes leave me in uncertainty if it’s the greatest time to get the iPhone 6 Plus now or is it better to go with the smaller iPhone 6 instead. Is the display size of the iPhone 6 huge enough. I am thinking if I’ll regret my decision for getting the smaller display. Is screen size all there is to picking the winner between iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. I am actually not convinced. I hope someone can enlighten me on this.
